Mr. Higgenbottom is a licensed psychotherapist with over thirty years of clinical experience. He has had extensive training in solution-focused and cognitive behavioral approaches. His specialties include marriage and family therapy, including blended family and parent-child problems. He was a member of the state task force that developed the initial state protocols for treating domestic violence and has worked with domestic violence victims and perpetrators for over twenty years. Les also has experience working with mood disorders and anger management problems. He is a state certified alcohol and drug counselor with expertise in treating cocaine and prescription drug dependency. His work experiences include: CEO of a social service agency, Clinical Director of an agency providing clinical services for women and their families, Regional Clinical Director for Catholic Charities and Clinical Director at an agency that provided clinical service for male youth.
